Surgery isn't the only path to a fuller, more lifted backside. At SVIA® in Silicon Valley, injectable volumizing treatments shape and enhance the buttocks, with natural-looking results and no operating room required.
Precision Aesthetics, Rooted in Surgical Training
SVIA® Plastic Surgery was co-founded by Dr. Tom Liu and Dr. Jerome Liu, board-certified, fellowship-trained plastic surgeons who built the practice around precision and natural-looking outcomes. That same surgical foundation shapes every non-surgical option offered across the SVIA® network. Reach out to schedule a consultation and learn which approach suits you best.

What Is a Non-Surgical BBL?
A non-surgical BBL relies on injectable fillers instead of an operating room to add shape, projection, and volume to the buttocks. SVIA® offers two options for this: Radiesse®, a calcium-based filler that volumizes while encouraging the body's own collagen, and alloClae®, a donor-derived adipose filler built specifically for body contouring. Neither option involves implants or fat transfer, giving patients a surgery-free route to a fuller silhouette.

Am I a Good Candidate for a Non-Surgical BBL?
Ideal candidates are in good overall health, keep a stable weight, and have realistic expectations for what filler-based volume can achieve. There should be no active skin infection in the treatment area, and alloClae® isn't recommended for patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding. The SVIA® team will go over your goals and anatomy during a consultation to recommend the right fit.
Non-Surgical BBL Recovery
There's little downtime after a non-surgical BBL. Most patients head back to work and normal activities the same day, aside from some temporary swelling or bruising at the injection sites. The filler continues to settle into place over the next several weeks.
Non-Surgical BBL Results
Many patients notice a difference right after treatment, with results continuing to refine over the following weeks. Radiesse® tends to provide volume for roughly three months before its collagen-building effects take over, often extending results to about a year. AlloClae® results generally last longer, sometimes several years, particularly for patients who maintain a steady weight.

Does the treatment hurt?
Injections are generally well tolerated. Most patients feel a brief pinch or pressure, and any lingering sensitivity fades not long after the appointment.
What risks come with Radiesse® or alloClae®?
Both are considered low-risk in the hands of a trained provider. Swelling, bruising, or firmness at the injection site can occur, and the SVIA® team will cover your personal risk factors during your consultation.
Can this be paired with other procedures?
Yes. Patients often pair Radiesse® or alloClae® with a treatment like CoolSculpting to address fat in nearby areas, or combine them with other injectables as part of a larger plan.
How many appointments does it take?
That depends on the person and the goal. Some patients get the look they want in one visit, while others schedule staged appointments, which the SVIA® team will map out ahead of time.
Will the results look like me, or obviously "done"?
Most patients find their results look like an enhanced, proportional version of their own shape. Both fillers are designed to integrate with existing tissue rather than sit on top of it.
Is a non-surgical BBL covered by insurance?
No. Like other elective cosmetic treatments, a non-surgical BBL isn't covered by insurance. The SVIA® team can discuss payment options during your visit.
Is this treatment available to men?
Yes. Men looking to add volume or refine the contour of the hips or buttocks can be good candidates for either Radiesse® or alloClae®.
