Ideal Candidates for the Brow Lift

Lines, wrinkles, bands, and creases can form on the brow for any number of reasons. A lot of the time, simple genetics and the passage of time are responsible for changes to the appearance of the upper portion of your face. In other cases, lots of sun and weather exposure can quicken the onset of lines and wrinkles. During your consultation, we’ll get to know your cosmetic issues and aesthetic goals, and will walk you through the different treatment options that you have available to you.

You’re likely a great choice for the brow lift if you’re interested in addressing:

Getting Ready for Your Brow Lift

Before the day of your surgery, we’ll make sure you have all the instructions you need to be prepared. If you smoke, you’ll need to stop doing so for at least a few weeks, as this habit can stand in the way of your speedy recovery process. You’ll go over any medications and supplements you might be taking with your doctor, so they can advise you as to the best course of action when you’re getting ready for your surgery.

What to Expect from a Brow Lift Surgery

For most patients, the brow lift can be completed in about one to two hours, but this will depend upon the specifics of your surgical plan. No two patients are exactly the same, so no two brow lifts will ever be performed identically. Before you arrive for your surgery, however, your surgeon will discuss their technique with you, in addition to helping you with everything you might need to know about scar placement, and so forth.

Once your surgery is complete, you’ll spend a bit of time in our recovery area, before heading home. You’ll need a friend to drive you as the anesthesia wears off, however. Your surgeon will do their best to hide incisions along your hairline so that any post-surgical scarring is not easily seen by the casual observer. Most patients experience about three to four weeks of recovery period before rejoining their routines.
