What exactly is MyEllevate® and how does it differ from a traditional neck lift?
MyEllevate® is a minimally invasive neck rejuvenation technique using light-guided internal sutures (ICLED® surgical suture system) to lift and support the neck and jawline without large incisions. Unlike a traditional neck lift, there’s no general anesthesia, much less downtime, and no visible scarring.
Who is a good candidate for MyEllevate®?
Ideal candidates are those with mild to moderate skin laxity in the neck or jawline, who maintain good skin elasticity, and wish to avoid more invasive surgery. People typically between 30–60 years of age are considered. (A consultation can determine candidacy more precisely.)
How long does the procedure take, and is it painful?
The procedure typically takes about one hour under local anesthesia. Patients may feel some discomfort during the procedure, but serious pain is uncommon. Swelling and bruising are minimal and short lived.
What is recovery like after MyEllevate®?
Recovery is fast. Most patients return to daily activities in 1–2 days. Mild swelling or soreness may last a few days. Because access points are tiny, there is no visible scarring.
When will I see results, and how long do they last?
You’ll see noticeable contour improvement immediately. Results continue to refine as swelling subsides. With proper care, results can last five years or more, especially when combined with supportive treatments.
Can I combine MyEllevate® with other cosmetic treatments?
Yes — in fact, combining MyEllevate® with complementary treatments can enhance your outcome. (See the next section for options.) Your surgeon can recommend which treatments work best for your anatomy and goals.
Are there risks or side effects?
As with any procedure, there is a risk of mild bruising, swelling, discomfort, or asymmetry. Because MyEllevate® is minimally invasive, serious complications are rare. Your surgeon will review all risks during your consultation.
What is the cost, and is financing available?
The cost depends on your anatomy, the degree of laxity, and whether adjunctive procedures are used. SVIA offers financing options to help make the procedure more accessible. During your consultation, you’ll receive a detailed cost estimate.
