At our practice, we’re committed to offering the latest and safest advances in aesthetic surgery. We’re excited to announce that in 2026 we will begin offering Preservé™ breast augmentation, a minimally invasive, tissue-preserving approach to breast enhancement that represents a new generation of breast surgery.
What Is Preservé™ — And How Is It Different?
Preservé™ is a new method developed by Motiva that emphasizes breast tissue preservation rather than aggressive dissection or disruption.
Key aspects of Preservé:
- Gentle pocket creation — Instead of cutting through tissue, the surgeon uses a specialized balloon-type dissector to gently separate the breast tissue and create a pocket, minimizing trauma to nerves, ligaments, and blood vessels.
- “No-touch” implant placement — The implant is inserted through a sleeve, without direct skin contact, reducing risk of contamination and supporting a sterile, controlled environment.
- Small incision & minimal scarring — The incision is small and located in the breast fold (inframammary), yielding a discreet scar that’s much less visible than in many traditional augmentations.
- Use of advanced implants for natural feel & movement — Preservé uses specially designed implants that are soft, responsive to movement, and mimic the natural feel and behavior of breast tissue.
- Faster, gentler recovery — Because tissues are preserved and trauma is minimized, many patients experience less pain, reduced swelling/bruising, and shorter downtime.
Why We’re Offering Preservé at Our Practice
We believe Preservé represents the future of breast augmentation. Here are the reasons we’ve chosen to adopt it:
- Patient comfort & safety first. The gentle, tissue-sparing technique reduces surgical trauma, which may lower risk of complications like bleeding, hematoma, or implant malposition
- Natural and soft results. Many patients prefer subtle, natural-looking enhancement over a more “augmented” appearance. The combination of advanced implants and minimally invasive technique helps us deliver on that.
- Faster recovery and less downtime. Because the procedure is less invasive, patients often resume daily activities more quickly, sometimes within days.
- Preservation of sensation and breast function. By avoiding extensive disruption of breast tissue, ligaments, and nerves, Preservé helps maintain nipple and breast sensitivity, an important consideration for many patients.
- Flexible, reversible, and natural aging potential. Since the anatomical structure of the breast is largely preserved, the implant sits in a more natural “pocket,” which may reduce risk of sagging or visible implant edges over time.
Who Is a Good Candidate?
Preservé is ideal for patients who:
- Are seeking a subtle to moderate increase in breast fullness rather than dramatic upsizing.
- Value a natural look and feel, with soft movement and proportional enhancement rather than an “augmented” appearance.
- Prefer minimal scarring, less downtime, and a smoother recovery.
- Have adequate breast tissue and skin elasticity, since Preservé does not rely on muscle dissection, but rather uses subglandular/subfascial placement.
- Wish to preserve breast sensation and minimize disruption to natural anatomy.
- May want the option of a more reversible augmentation.
Note: Individual results may vary. It's essential to consult with our specialists to determine the most appropriate treatment plan for your needs.
